It's referred to as "The Golden Year" the 50th Wedding Anniversary, and my Grandparents made it! April 12, 1960 my Grandparents said those 2 little words "I DO" and the rest is history... 4 daughters together, a whole bunch of grandkids, and great grandkids. I know over the years, they have faced so much together and together they are still. In a world of divorce, they are an inspiration to me. I wish them so MANY more years of togetherness, and happiness.
I hope they enjoyed their semi-surprise party with friends & family, as much as their daughters enjoyed preparing for it. It was a cozy dinner party, with fantastic food, people and a band (well two wonderful singers).
