Happy Easter 2009

Easter 2009...

This Easter was pretty low key, we awoke around 8am, Drew opened his basket from the big bunny, which he loved.. I think his favorite thing was his Detroit Tigers warm-up outfit and is Thomas the Train bubble set. He ended up wearing the Tigers outfit today, because he wanted to look FANCY! (his words), so much for the special Easter shirt I bought him, oh well, he did look super cool! especially with his matching shades. I was worried that he would be sad he did not get the kid kitchen or big boy pool that he mentioned yesterday afternoon, but this morning he did not even mention it. Kevin & I bought Drew his first set of real golf clubs for Easter, he had a fun day playing around with them in the yard.

We stopped by the cemetery to visit the girls, it's hard to believe this was our second Easter without them. Happy Easter baby girls! After that we went to my Aunt's house for dinner, it was nice to see everyone, it's been far too long! One of my Aunt's gave me a easter basket full of candy, a figurine, and an Easter egg filled with jelly beans - one for each member of my family, even one for our new little peanut, so a total of 6 - it was so touching that she did that and included all my children (thanks again, love you).

The day is wrapping up with a hot tea from me, and some TV, and my fair share of candy...
