This past Sunday, November 2nd, the three of us attended "All Souls Day" mass at the cemetery were our angels are buried. All Souls Day is a day dedicated to remembrance of our loved ones who have died. This was our 2nd year attending, and it is really nice. During mass the names of all those buried within the past year are read aloud, and a special prayer said for them. Last year, we got to hear Kiersten & Brooklyn's names aloud, and this year we got to hear so many others, including the Lily's the daughter of our new friends. It really made me stop and think about all these families who have been left behind, all these people are feeling just as badly as we are, it is just sad that so many people in this world are grieving.
I attached a photo of the luminaries that they distribute at the mass to leave out for the night at your loved ones grave. To our surprise, someone has added these little deers, pinecones and flower spray to the girls areas. So who did it? it was very kind, and so heartwarming to know that someone was thinking of them.
