To Write Their Names In The Sand

Through another angel mommy I learned of a charity run by a woman and her husband in honor of their son who was stillborn, in Australia. Their blog is called, To Write Their Names In The Sand - and that is what they do on Burns Beach in Australia they write names in the sand at sunset of children of any age who have passed away.

I requested that Carly write Kiersten & Brooklyn's names on a Friday, and literally she did it within 24 hours. To me they are the most beautiful photos and are very comforting. It's amazing they were both taken on the same day, but each one has a different look. We had 8x10's made of each one, and now are debating on where to hang them in the livingroom. It's a nice thought that our daughters names have been written & washed into the ocean a world away.
